You are encouraged and welcome to invite Guests to Pear Studio as long as they are personally escorted throughout their visit.

Guests are visitors who you’d like to invite to Pear Studio to meet you for a short period of time for things like meetings, meals or co-working sessions.

How do I invite a guest to use Pear Studio?

In order for a guest to make their way, they need to know two pieces of information:

1. How to find our lobby
2. To wait in the lobby until you arrive to escort them

Ensuring your guests won’t have trouble accessing the building.

Guests will struggle to find the building and may run into issues with lobby security without clear guidelines. Please include the blurb below on any invite or email you send

Pear Studio can be a bit difficult to find. We provide the following information to all our guests to make finding the building and the check-in process easier. Please take a moment to read the instructions below.

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the start time of your meeting to ensure you have plenty of time to find your way to the Studio.

• GETTING TO OUR LOBBY:
  • The 1800 Owens is the entire block of buildings on Owens Street between 16th and 17th street. Pear Studio is located on the 8th floor of the southernmost building (the South Lobby) which is the entrance closest to 17th Street.
  • If you are arriving from 16th Street, proceed past the multi-colored parking structure towards 17th Street. The South Lobby is a brick building with “4/D” above the door.
• CHECKING IN:
  • Please let your host know that you have arrived at Host phone number and wait in the south lobby until your host arrives to escort you to the 8th floor.
  • If asked by the front desk, please let them know that you are meeting with the Pear team and that your host is going to meet you.

A few final notes…

All mobile badges that were active as of May 14th, 2025 have been given 24/7 access to badge readers at the south lobby doors, south lobby turnstiles, south lobby elevators, and 8th floor doors. If you are having trouble with your badge access, please email [email protected].

Please note that founders are expected to be fully responsible for communicating these guidelines to their guests and for escorting their guests from the lobby to the 8th floor. In order to minimize guest confusion, please make sure to follow these guidelines and to communicate properly with your guests.
